NOMINATION PROCESS
This year the Management Council Board developed additional materials to highlight the qualities we look for when selecting award recipients. Under each category, you will find ideal candidate statements and rubrics that will be used to select recipients. The ideal candidate statement is what we would envision being able to say about each of the recipients of the awards. The rubric is a scoring tool that will help us standardize the scoring of each of the nominations.

Best Kept Secret
Honoring an exceptional person whose contributions may go unnoticed, this award celebrates someone who plays a crucial role in the County’s success. Recipients demonstrate quiet competence and adherence to best practices, making significant impacts behind the scenes.

Awarded to a new manager who shows exceptional promise as an emerging leader. Ideal candidates will have been in a managerial role for three years or less, demonstrating core leadership skills and a genuine desire for growth and improvement.
